Hailing from industrial Northeastern England, with a voice reminiscent of some of the classic Motown songstresses, Etta Smith brings more than a touch of elegance to her music. She was raised primarily on a diet of Northern Soul, Disco and Motown by her parents in 1990s Darlington. Singing whenever and wherever she was able, sometimes even if she was not able, it wasn’t long before the striking red haired girl took up the piano and her musical journey was well underway.
