Biography

Ex-Easter Island Head are a Liverpool, UK based ensemble, composing and performing music for solid-body electric guitar, percussion and other instruments. Their music uses repetition, percussive processes, resonance and amplification with multiple electric guitars to create a sound that draws on minimalism, drone music, ambient sound and process music. As equally austere as it is sonically dense, the music of Ex-Easter Island Head is immersive and organic. Rich in overtones, celestial drones and chattering lattices of percussion; an ever-changing surface over an unmoving center.
