Biography

'Frenetic rock duo Fast Car To Florence was born in the summer of 2016 as a labour of love between Isaac Anderson (guitar and vocals) and Chris Barber (drums) who had met by a chance encounter on set at a video shoot in Nottingham, UK.

A shared job of travelling the country in the back of a tiny van playing cover songs at parties and events inspired the two to break the monotony by creating something of their own - something fresh, exciting, and with a passionate message.

In the years that followed, FCTF juggled hectic schedules of touring the world as session players for other artists alongside recording demos and performing early shows anywhere and everywhere they could - hiring venues with their own money, and giving away early recordings for free via their mailing list. With influences ranging from Foo Fighters to Taylor Swift and everything in between, the Fast Car To Florence sound slowly took shape, and the band started to gather a small but dedicated fanbase.’
