Acoustic singer/songwriter pop
Feliicia Eliza has both Danish and English blood running through her veins. She moved with her family to the UK at the age of 7 where she picked up the guitar and started out learning old Irish folk songs. Feliicia Eliza has spent the last 10 years back in Denmark studying and gaining valuable gigging experience. Though she has now returned to the UK to pursue her ambitions to become a musician.
She comes from a big family where music and performing were part of everyday life within her home. After being inspired by her reception teacher to learn to play the guitar, by the age of 9, she was touring her local area playing at old people’s homes to raise money for the NSPCC.
At the age of 15 she appeared on Denmark’s Got Talent getting through to the live shows. Despite not entirely enjoying the experience, she still feels she learnt a great deal and she believes she has grown and matured a lot since then.
She has done her fair share of function work singing at parties for big establishments and spent 3 months in the French alps playing 6 nights a week for the eager after-ski goers.
From all these experiences, she began songwriting, developing her very personal lyrics around her loves, heartbreaks, hopes, dreams as she evolved into an independent young woman.
Her acoustic-based pop sound has been influenced by a mixture of different genres and artists like Imelda May, Jamie Cullum, Tina Dickow and Adele. Her overall sound is similar to K T Tunstall with touches of Gabrielle Aplin.
