Founder of Natural Essence Media- he has been spinning on the London underground house scene for 15 years. Hosting a wealth of events and parties for prestigious names of the industry such as - Defected, Twilo, Garage Nation as well as a number of radio stations such as Ice Fm, BBC1 Xtra and has done guest slots on Colourful Radio. It is a refreshing feeling to know that Femi Natural Essence passion for the love of music filters through his professionalism of his DJing and the Natural Essence company. Currently running the Natural Essence Media.

Femi Natural Essence formally known as DJ Extreme, starting his career in the early 90’s influenced by number of DJs and artists across many genres of music. Got a break from Jason Kaye from the legendary UK Dance outfit Top Buzz (Together with Mikee B’who went on to form The Dreem Team). Femi became a regular at the Garage Nation events. and a number of events and venues in London, including Ministry of Sound, Colosseum, Gass Club, to name a few. 2002 saw the birth of a Black Op’s with a UK underground music and cultural movement, in that period he traveled far and wide DJing, promoting and performing in cities such as Amsterdam, New York, Barcelona and many more.

Black Ops Sublow sound developed in to the Dubstep sound it is now, with many of its artists citing Black Ops as a direct influence. During that spell Femi held down one of the most popular radio shows on London pirates Ice Fm the legendary Friday night Sublow sessions and still spoke about today, and rare copies of the show are still very much sort after. The Black Ops Group was courted by Warner and BMG at its height. Femi continued to promote House Music events at venues such as Pacha London, Ministry of Sound and a number of other venues in the UK. 2011 Femi re-launched the label with a Dance and House A&R policy signing acts from across the globe, as far wide as South Africa and US. He is currently busy running the label and hosting the weekly Natural Essence House Show which is broadcast on a number of Internet and FM radio stations around the world.
