A collaborative performance by Fis and Rob Throne ahead of their synergic album release on Subtext later on this year.

Fis produces physical, spirited, exploratory electronic music informed by his surroundings and connection to the natural world.

Rob Thorne is a Maori musician and anthropologist from Palmerston North, New Zealand. He has been researching and performing on taonga pūoro, or traditional Maori instruments since 2001.

The two artists combine their practices to present a reimagining of indigenous musical traditions, bridging the gap between long-established and experimental approaches.
