Flat Back Four formed in late 2004; two years on, they have already played with some top underground bands, including Captain Everything, Five Knuckle, Uncle Brian, Los Retardos, Milloy, Useless ID, 3dbs Down and Hondo Mclean. They have also recorded and released several cds: Handguns & Hiding Places, Pork Pies & Snapped Strings: The Cider Session, Who Dares Penguins and Protect Yourself released in October 2012 on Horn & Hoof records.

Flat Back Four have recently recruited Tommy C on drums, after a lengthy search following the departure of Alan Easton in Spring.
