Biography

Tom Keogh (vocals/guitar), Jamie Corish (vocals/bass), Nat Jones (guitar) and Rob Maclennan (drums) collectively form Flatlands: an indie pop four piece from Oxford, formed in late 2016.

Despite being unsigned, Flatlands' early shows include support slots for Yonaka, Redfaces, Rhys Lewis, Rews, Neon Waltz and Kashmere.

After a busy summer of festivals, two Sofar Sounds acoustic gigs and three consistently sold-out headline shows in Oxford and London, Flatlands welcomed their birthday with the release of their hit single Friday Night. The track gained national radioplay, being described as “a certified banger”. Support slots with Marsicans and Cassels soon followed and, in February 2018, the boys announced the release of their second E.P 'At The Time It Made Perfect Sense'

Without a doubt Flatlands retain the pop charm of early singles like “One Major One Minor”. However, ATTIMPS demonstrates a maturity in their sound and their deft hand at combining American punk and British indie influences.
