Andre Silva Neves (a.k.a. George Silver) is a lively polymath who uses his works to express a vast and comprehensive imagination in several artistic forms.
He's been actively involved in the Portuguese electronic scene, experimenting with different ways of expressing himself experimentally. His art is influenced by sounds from all around the world, as he has collected sounds from every location he has travelled to. Silver has worked on national and international projects in cities and states such as Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), London (United Kingdom), Calabria (Italy), and Budapest (Hungary) over recent years. His work has already accumulated eight releases on different independent labels, for instance, Panama Papers, Linha Amarela and other self-releases, and he has done over 300 performances.
His art, in a nutshell, seeks to be transversal in nature. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon and went on to explore music at Hot Clube de Portugal and Barreiro Jazz School (having done workshops and masterclasses with international professionals) specialising in drums and piano.
