DJ, producer and curator of Drum & Bass record label Riot Records;
Georgie broke into the scene in 2021 and has been causing waves across the globe ever since.
Georgie is known for her creative double drops, fast pace mixing and energetic live performances. Georgie has been producing all kinds of drum & bass since 2021; from melodic, uplifting dancefloor, to high impact energetic jump-up. She is the perfect example of what hard work and dedication can do for an artist who is determined. She has honed her skills and built a strong brand in a short space of time and has gained the attention of fans and other artists across the globe.
A dedicated DJ who ditched her career as a professional model and agent for a life in the music industry, this is everything she’s pursued since her first drum & bass rave: from handing out flyers and sneaking into venues underage, to playing drums in a band and studying music technology.
The 27 year old began djing in 2020 and started her journey with production in 2021.
Georgie is breaking boundaries in production following on from her debut single "Take Over" which was released on world renowned label UKF just 6 months after she began learning to produce. It gained over 100,000 streams in under two weeks, was featured across multiple Spotify and Apple editorial playlists, and was featured heavily on BBC Radio 1.
Georgie's debut EP "Take Over", named after her leading single was released with UKF on August 3rd 2022. In December 2022 Georgie remixed Oliver Tree's chart-topping "Miss You", which was released on Atlantic Records (US). The track has over 2 million streams on Spotify alone. Since then she has released music on WARNER, DNB ALLSTARS, VIPER, DEVICE and RIOT RECORDS.
In December 2022 Georgie completed her first tour across New Zealand and Australia; performing at New Zealand's biggest and most prestigious festivals including Rhythm & Vines, Golden Lights and Golden Nights, to name a few. After the huge success of her first tour, in June 2023 Georgie returned for a second tour of Australia, this time for a winter club show run co-headlined with Dr Fresh (USA), as well as her own headline shows in New Zealand. Georgie has been selling out headline shows in the UK, Austria, Spain, amongst other countries in Europe.
She has had ample bookings for 2023, playing across the biggest festivals in Europe including Let It Roll (CZ), Rampage (BE), Dreamland (DE), Leeds Festival (UK), Frequency Festival (AT), Nass Festival (UK), Tokyo World (UK), Blacklist Festival (DE), and many more. Summer 2023 has been huge for Georgie so far.
In September 2022 Georgie launched her own record label RIOT RECORDS. She has been releasing her own music as well as music from the likes of Captain Bass, Klay, Gouki, to name a few.
Riot Records was named as Beatport’s “Label Of The Month” at the beginning of 2023. Georgie has released guest mixes with the likes of BBC Radio 1, KISS, RINSE, SWU and New Zealand's George FM. In May 2023, Georgie began hosting a monthly radio show called “Causing A Riot”. The show airs every third Saturday of the month on KOOL FM, hosted by RINSE FM.
2024 is set to be an exciting year for Georgie, with plans to return to New Zealand and Australia for a third tour, as well as much more music on the way. Georgie will continue to grow as an artist and reach new heights.
As a woman who has always always been involved in a male dominated industry, Georgie believes it is time for females to be supported and represented within the music industry to the same extent men are. She is hoping to inspire other women to step forward and see music as an option.
