DJ, promoter and club brand founder, there’s not much Gina Moretti hasn’t achieved in the dance music world. But consider that it’s all been done in just three years, and the feat becomes even more impressive.

It’s no overstatement to say Gina Moretti has taken Leeds by storm since returning to her home town. In just a short period of time, she’s created and grown The Moretti Club, cementing its reputation as one of the funkiest parties in town with gigs at some of the city’s best spots including Club Mission, A Bar Below, HiFi Club and Fibre.

Driving that amazing growth is her own sound; a foot-stomping mix of disco edits, full-fat house, funky throwdowns and classic vocals. And it’s seen her in demand across bars and clubs in Yorkshire. First at her own parties and then as a guest DJ for other parties and promoters including The Leeds Warehouse, Our House, Casa Loco, Sleepin' Is Cheatin', Beaver Works and beyond.

Amazingly, it all started just three years ago when she lived in the UAE, with her first gig on a yacht party overlooking the 2016 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. That quickly led to Gina setting up her own boat parties in Dubai, with further residencies and guest radio slots following.

Now back in Leeds, Club Moretti is quickly becoming one of Leeds’ most talked about parties. And with very good reason. The Club Moretti sessions continue every week alongside Grim Up North while there are two festive blowouts: first on Boxing Day in Fibre’s plush Penthouse and then a disco takeover at The 212 Bar on NYE. Just imagine where Gina and her Moretti Club will be in the next three years!
