GIOM was born and raised in Niort, France. He now lives in London where, when he's not busy touring and recording with various artists as a session drummer, he djs and produces Deep House music. Influenced by Djs such as Derrick Carter, Mark Farina and DJ Sneak, he released his first track in 2006 on DJ Heather's Blackcherry Recordings, under a license from OM Records. He quickly gained the support of some of the world's biggest underground House Djs, with Mark Farina, Dj Heather, Johnny Fiasco and the Lawnchair Generals all playing his tracks during their sets.
