Biography

Good Health Good Wealth (GHGW) are an Alternative/ Indie London-based duo consisting of vocalist, songwriter and producer Bruce Breakey and guitarist, producer and model Simon Kuzmickas.

Inspired by genre-bending artists such as N.E.R.D and Prince as well as the personal storytelling of Kanye West, The Streets and Mac Miller, GHGW cherry pick elements from a range of styles and sounds whilst remaining unmistakably London.

East London-born Bruce (named after Bruce Springsteen) began producing beats on Fruity Loops, inspired by the likes of The Alchemist and The Neptunes. Simon, born in Vilnius, Lithuania grew up on a mixed diet of eastern block electronica, as well as Iggy Pop and Leonard Cohen.

Family values run deep for GHGW, with their name inspired by Bruce’s family tradition of toasting a drink to “good health, good wealth”. The duo navigate modern life and the seemingly endless pursuit of happiness with this mantra, spreading good vibes and unity in an era which feels increasingly bleak.

With a 2021 debut EP “RICH”, produced by Richard Archer of Hard-FI; selected by BBC Radio 1 for their “Next Wave” feature; a sell-out headline show and a UK tour with The Twang, stay tuned as Good Health Good Wealth will be coming out with new and exciting music soon. Collaborations with Fredwave, Rarelyalways and Subculture will set the stage for their next project - expect the unexpected!

“They really feel like one of our own don’t they” - Jack Saunders, BBC Radio 1
