Formed in Speyside, Scotland’s whisky capital, they have quickly gathered a following throughout the North of the country with their heartfelt evocative songs.
In November 2017 they released their self titled EP, with tracks When I First Saw You There, Come With Me, Help, Pick Your Self Up and Through The Trees. All songs were recorded with Mark Morrow, and mixed and mastered with Justin Paul Hill. They released a heartfelt music video with up coming Film Director Ruaridh Mcinthosh Turner and his team, which caught the attention 0f many world wide with radio plays and reviews from the voice of Scottish unsigned bands Jim Gellaty and reaching the number 1 spot with Pick Your Self Up and number 2 with When I First Saw You There in the Scottish new music Global chart. Seeing them tour Scotland also being invited over to Norway.
In early 2018 they progressed their sound by bring in drums and some electric guitar. Recording a further 4 single’s Blood, In Beauty And Form, Follow Me and latest single Fall In Love with Justin Paul Hill. Blood and In Beauty And Form featured talented musician and good friend Bob Neish. With an even bigger sound with drums, they attracted the attention of Party At The Palace Promoters. After not wining the Battle of the Band for a slot on their smaller stage they were asked to open the Main Stage at the festival for acts such as James, Gabrellie, Texas, Mel C, Imelda May and Embrace. 2018 also seen them showcase at Xpo North, closing the free range folk stage at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival and headlining Ironworks Inverness for Netsounds Bella Showcase. They got number 1 with single Blood and number 2 with In Beauty And Form, also number 8 with Follow Me on the Scottish new music global chart. Seeing them play brainstorming shows from Ullapool to London and having featured in The Scottish Sun, Track of the day and regular air play by Jim Gellatly on amazing Radio. They joined stage with Edgar Road at a Sold out 350 cap Elgin Town Hall show. Also joining Indigo Velvet at a sold out Drouthy Cobbler. Late 2018 saw another step forward for Gordon James And The Power working with Point Break Music Constancy.
