Greg Griffin and The Midnight Clergy is a band formed by singer Greg Griffin following his departure from UK band Proud Mary. Greg has been working with musicians to develop a new sound that encapsulates his influences from his home in Southern California, while still maintaining his Manchester roots. Cues are taken from his musical influences; The Band, Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, John Lennon, Gram Parsons and Captain Beefheart.

Greg and the band are releasing their first studio album together in March 2017 , recorded in Joshua Tree, CA with stellar contributions from Marc Ford of the Black Crowes

The band its also embarking on their first UK tour with dates in June 2017.

He looks forward to sharing a new chapter of his musical career with friends old and new.
