Trained as a percussionist, GRICE started out playing drums in a number of bands in London, he then progressed on to acoustic and electric guitar which has become his primary instrument. He also plays bass, kora, tzouras and keyboards, experimenting and manipulating sounds - both analogue and digital.

GRICE has always been a prolific writer both in bands and as a solo artist with many self-produced and studio recorded albums and EPs to his credit. He has formed and fronted classy brit-pop flavoured bands 'Laugh like A Madman', 'The burning martyrs', 'The Martyrs', 'SWANSTON' and the avant-garde outfit 'hungersleep' which earned him the title of 'cocktail punk'. He has also been published and has composed music for television programmes and documentaries (Black Diamond films, BBC2, BBC Worldwide, MTV, MTVF, Sky Sports etc).

GRICE has just completed his first full length album PROPELLER co-produced by Lee Fletcher with musical contributions from renowned pedal steel guitarist BJ Cole (Dave Sylvian, Depeche Mode), Markus Reuter on U8 Touch Guitar (Stick Men), percussion and drums by 05Ric (Gavin Harrison), trumpeter Luca Calabrese, Steve Bingham (No-Man), saxophonist Raphael Ravenscroft (Pink Floyd/Final Cut) and more.
