Halfred is the culmination of years and years of aural exploration. Originally a drummer, the Italian born sonic warrior found his roots in drumming which led him to to music production, along with a degree in electronic music production at SAE, in Milan. The producer dove as deep as he could into an ever-evolving realm of frequencies, tailoring dynamic psychedelic masterpieces littered with organic texture, mind-tickling foley and a breadth of sacred healing tones. Halfred’s quickly burgeoning catalogue of cavernous canticles brushes upon a wide variety of stylistic peculiarities, drawing inspiration from the unfathomable sounds of nature and the ever-changing world around us. Releasing his debut album through Kalya Scintilla’s “Merkaba Music” label, alongside some releases on Mycelium Music, Digital Whomp, Outtallectuals Collective, Halfred’s expeditious venture through sound and mind has only just begun to unfold. Constantly pushing the limits of his own music, Halfred has much in store for the future, having just joined the Shanti Planti collective and started to play around in music festival around the world.
