Harry Houseago, is a singer/songwriter/guitarist and entertainer from London.
He already has a wealth of musical performance and success behind him as a singer/songwriter/guitarist. He is a gifted songwriter who pens clever lyrics that are mature way beyond his years. His experience in the professional recording studio from the tender age of six, and his ability to play various other instruments, has given him a brilliant ear for arranging. Harry has loved gigging since his first open mic at the age of ten and now plays regularly at venues all over England, including the O2 Indigo and Hammersmith Apollo.
In the last couple of years Harry has gained recognition and interest from experts in the industry, such as Malcolm McLaren, Annie Nightingale Billy Ocean and legendary UK producer Steve Lyon. He has had great success in national competitions such as LIVE AND UNSIGNED (third in 2009, finalist in 2010), the UK’s biggest search for unsigned musicians; top five in Open Mic UK 2009 , semi finalist in the 2010 UK songwriting competition and Best solo act in the BRIT Class Act Camp Bestival Competition last summer. Harry has appeared on ITV, GMTV, BBC Radio, Teacher’s TV, 5 Live Radio and many local radio stations.
With all of this, Harry remains really grounded, humble, hard working and takes nothing for granted. Most of all he has a huge heart of gold and gives up loads of his free time using his music for charity. Every week he plays live on Radio Lollipop at Great Ormond Street Hospital performing any song requested by the children. He is also an active campaigner for Busking Cancer and organises various fundraising gigs for both. Read more on Last.fm.
