Hector Plimmer burst onto the scene in 2014 with an appearance on Gilles Peterson’s ‘Brownswood Bubblers” Vol 11, alongside beatsmith Al Dobson Jr, jazz luminaries GoGo Penguin, and the ever soulful Moonchild.
In 2015, Hector won the prestigious Steve Reid award earning him mentorship from Floating Points, Four Tet & Gilles Peterson. Since then he has gone onto releasing his debut album, 'Sunshine' which has been met by the overwhelming response being awarded Album Of The Month by Gilles Peterson, BBC Radio 6Music / Worldwide FM.
