Biography

Hell’s Addiction deliver classic no-bullshit Rock and Roll in a style that draws comparison with the likes of AC/DC, Guns ‘n Roses, Skid Row and Mötley Crüe.

The band came together in 2010 in Leicester, born of a mutual passion for the hard-hitting rock of the great 70s and 80s bands.

Building on the band’s powerhouse live performances and loyal fanbase, Hell’s Addiction self-released two killer singles: ‘Alcohol’ and ‘Let The Good Times Roll’. These tracks, along with their respective YouTube videos, generated a huge amount of interest in the band and several offers from record labels. In 2012 the band signed to EIA Records.

The album ‘Raise Your Glass’ was mastered by Pete Maher (U2, Killers, Jack White), and released in February 2013. Hell’s Addiction’s hard-hitting approach to the classic rock sound went down a storm, gathering great reviews from both sides of The Atlantic.

In 2015 the band signed a deal with TBFM Records & Management and started plans on a new album. Since then the band have been booked to play many festivals including Upload Fest, Redemption, SOSFest, Breaking Bands Festival, Wildfire Festival and most recently invited to open Download Festival. The festival dates fit in nicely as the band were invited to play the Breaking Boundaries tour.

The band got to the quarter final stages of this years Metal 2 The Masses competition in Leicester alongside some very good bands.

The new album ‘Broken’ announced for release 2nd July 2016 which has already attracted airplay on Kerrang! Radio with Johnny Doom describing the band as having ‘the AC/DC swagger‘. A launch party for the second album was completely sold out at The Firebug in Leicester with support bands to be announced.

The end of the year is completed with a trip to Belfast as special guests for Trucker Diablo’s Xmas Party at the iconic Diamond Rock Club.

Several festival slots have already been confirmed for 2017 including the TBFM Music Awards, Rockmantic, Dementia Aware-Fest, HRH AOR (with Lita Ford) and many more still to be announced. A live video for ‘The Rocker’ was released with fan footage from Download Festival and has gone down a storm.

2017 sees a 3rd album set for release with the band already playing tracks from it on their current set lists. 2 tours are planned which include trips across Europe and a festival in France later in the year.
