Born and bred in south of Italy , Helrad has been a DJ for several years in his hometown under different names where he was heavily influenced by the techno scene. He thrives on 3 decks playing dance-floor orientated heavy and hard techno with a variety of raw, emotional, funk, and distorted groove elements. Helrad has always been fascinated by the UK electronic music scene with artists such as,Rebekah, Slam, Ben Sims, Silicon Soul, Perc and JoeFarr to name a few. He has been released tracks on JoeFarr 's label UX, Jamaica Suk's label Gradient, Jaded London Stroberload records, Drec and on his very own label Helrad Limited. Some of his tracks have been supported by very familiar names such as Rebekah, Dave Clarke, Ghost in the Machine, Joefarr, Manni Dee, Richie Hawtin, Ben Sims, Benjamin Damage and on and on. His tracks have been remixed by Steve Stoll, Stanislav Tolkachev, Joefarr and Hans Bouffmyhre.
