Hijack Stories were formed late 2012 by French guitarist/pianist Remy Rosengarten and South African bassist Scott Jackson. The two met in London early 2008, but it wasn’t until late 2012 that they decided to form Hijack Stories. The rest of the band members joined within a short space of time and began working on new songs. First to join was Welsh singer Gareth Pugh, who Remy unearthed through an ad and American born Evan Prettyman joined on the drums.
