Both members met in secondary school, through a mutual acquaintance. They realised their had similar taste in music and formed and played in rock bands to develop their hunger and skills. Ever hungry for music consumption they enjoyed listening into Rock, Jungle, Garage and Funk, naturally their taste of music evolved and they discovered Pendulum. 'Hold Your Color' was a massive influence, and it was at this point their obsession and curiosity for dnb grew, they went on to discover artists such as Culture Shock, DJ Fresh and Brooke Brothers and soon realised they had to write Drum & Bass. Fast forward to 2017, their debut single 'Lucid Dreams' has received support from Radio 1 DJ Friction & Metrik and is released now on Luke Hood's UKF fame Pilot label. So stay locked for more releases in the pipeline, the future looks bright for Hillsdom.
