Biography

Hipsters Don’t Dance are DJ duo Kazabon and Hootie Who. Inspired by their respective heritages (Trinidad and Nigeria) the selectors combine their love of Dancehall, Soca, Afropop and more to create their unique World Carnival sound that they bring to their club and radio sets.

Kazabon and Hootie Who are famous for getting dancefloors across the UK bubbling and wining to their high energy sets; from Bloc Festival to The Southbank Centre to Glasgow’s The Art School. They have featured in Mixmag, Time Out London, and IDJ magazines as well as countless online publications. Their up to the minute selections are the focus of their bi-weekly Radar Radio show which has led to the pair guesting on NTS, BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra.

When they aren’t nicing up the dance Kazabon and Hootie Who are contributing to websites such as Dummy Mag, Africa is a Country and Don’t Watch That.
