About Beatles With Wings

This is how the band started. A few years ago, while sorting through his sheet music, legendary sax player, Howie Casey, unearthed the complete set of musical arrangements for the Wings over America tour that he played tenor sax on as a member of Paul McCartney's Wings in the 70s. As he went through it and enjoyed great memories of that time, an idea sprang to mind.

Why not form a new band like that, celebrating the fabulous music of Paul McCartney, the Beatles and Wings, playing to this original score? So the band began to form, with help from other experienced and professional musician friends, such as John Jones lead Vocals John Christopher rhythm guitar, Dave Christopher bass, Tim Wedlake lead guitar, Paul Gill drums, Tony Waller trumpet, Steve Hayes trombone, Bev Miller sax, clarinet, flute, and backing vocals, Vicky Barents lead, back vocals and flute, Helen Hardy lead and back vocals, and myself on sax. The band also uses other musicians from time to time, all of the musicians and singers are of the highest quality, and put on a great show.

Over the last couple of years, Beatles with Wings have performed brilliantly successful, sell out shows at venues around the UK.
