Howl Griff is from Aberystwyth, West Wales. The band came together in 2006. Gary Parkinson joined on guitar from Bolton, Nick Moore joined on drums from Merseyside and Matt Barnes joined on bass from Tasmania. They describe their music as \'corduroy rock\'. Their influences range from 60\'s psychedelic acts such as Buffalo Springfield and The Byrds through to Dr Feelgood to new wave acts such as Talking Heads and Joe Jackson. They also unashamedly love AOR.
