DJ, Producer & Promoter, Huggy is one of the very few DJ/Producers to have recorded an Essential mix for Radio 1 as well as hold down radio show's for Scottish Radio Holdings, Beat 106 & Xfm).
For Years, Huggy has been thrilling crowds in Edinburgh with his infamous club nights Burger Queen, Blast, Stereotype and various other residencies each night completely individual but all with the same goal, to entertain. He has always remained true to his musical roots playing house & techno from day one never jumping on style bandwagons and always giving a nod to history.
Huggy has also DJ'ed extensively worldwide with international gigs in New York, Miami, Hong Kong, Moscow, Kuala Lumpur, Barcelona, Stockholm, Porto, Lisbon and all the major clubs in Ibiza and several of the most respected clubs in the UK such as Renaissance, Ministry of Sound and Cream, not to mention numerous festival appearances across the UK.
The former Burger Queen man is also no stranger to a recording studio having his first ever track "House Fever" being the first UK track to be signed to The Ministry of Sound's label. Babe Instinct's "Disco Babes From Outer Space" was also picked up by Positiva and Erick Morillo's Subliminal Records, and he has also remixed over 50 club hits including Blondie, Joey Negro and Ferry Corsten amongst others. More recently, Huggy has produced a few tracks with fellow DJ and close friend Dean Newton, notable releases "La Terrazza" was picked up by Kontor Records, with great support from Roger Sanchez, Tom Novy, Kurd Maverick, DJ Disciple, Paul Harris and many many more. The epic "747" which was an international hit for Erick Morillo's Subliminal Records as well as "Soul Roots" for his the spin off label Sondos as well as the Ibiz anthem "The Pressure" for Cr2 Recordings.
