Hugo Arena, born in Brazil, comes from a very musical family. His parent's record collection had all the Brazilian greats, such as Jorge Ben and Tim Maia, but also the eclectic variety of international artists! Hugo came from a buzzing arts community and his closest friends were all DJs, rappers and dancers so music has always been his way of life.

Hugo started DJ'ing in 2002, playing in Brazil, USA, Italy and London. He loves to connect the dots between multiple styles, one of which includes disco! Some of his many DJ'ing highlights include the BYOV and Dublab Takeover, Supermax, Cool FM, A Slice of Blue and Open Decks Sunday Sessions at Grow.
