Biography

Three-Piece indie-pop band, Hunter From Fremonte, were formed by childhood friends from the Welsh Valleys; Jj Gagg (vocals and guitar), Joe Hembrow (bass) and Owen Gillard (drums and backing vocals). Joe and Owen formed the primary line-up, Later being joined by Jj after witnessing an electric performance in during auditions.

Defining their sound in the infamous South Wales scene, Hunter From Fremonte fill a niche with their "Laidback indie-pop sound that has an eclectic stand-out style screaming nothing but fun" (Amy Farrer,Buzzmag) Their first EP, Pavements, gained recognition from the BBC introducing platform via Bethan Elfyn on Radio Wales earning radio time in both the UK and California.

Following the release of the single, Polaroid, in October 2017, the band have been working relentlessly in the studio to bring you the follow-up EP, "Born in the 9T's and Inspired by the 8T's" in late 2018. The EP infuses the traditional indie rock with heavy 80's synth influences and promises to be a new exciting venture for the band.
