Izzie is a young singer-songwriter with a voice and soulful spirit beyond her years. Inspired by artists of the 60’s and 70’s, such as: Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Johnny Cash, Izzie writes her own beautifully crafted songs. In these songs she showcases her advanced guitar style and impressive vocal range.
Izzie performed in public for the first time at age 15, at a local Open Mic. After her first performance, she was offered several gigs, one of which was a spot at the local festival. She then spent the next few months performing in venues all over the West Midlands, and also released her first self titled EP, which consisted of 3 original tracks.
Izzie soon began working with a local record label called ‘Domesticate Records’, where she released 2 singles.
Then, in September 2016, Izzie released her second EP called ‘It’s Life’, which she recorded with Domesticated Records, but released as an independent artist. Tracks from the EP ‘It’s Life’ have been played on local radio stations such as: BBC Coventry and Warwickshire, and Radio Plus.
Izzie is currently working as an independent artist to release her debut Album. The album consists of songs about her experiences of growing up and her fears for the future. It will be released on the 27th May, and a launch party will be held at The Tin in Coventry.
