JABBERWOCKY were formed early 2011, after the split of Grimsby based celtic folk rock band Broadsword.

Not wanting to be disheartened by the departure of the mandolin player from Broadsword, the remaining members Rob and Trev got in touch with close friends Chris and Ceri, of the Sheffield based band Treebeard, and lo, a monster was created!!

Featuring acoustic guitar, harmonica and vocals from Rob; mandolin, bouzouki, accordion and acoustic guitar from the multi talented Chris; haunting fiddle and flute from Ceri; and topped off by the unmistakable percussive styling of Trev, Jabberwocky are a band ready to folk and roll with the best of them!!
