Biography

"After taking the internet by storm with his track ‘Young’ in 2021, this 17-year-old singer songwriter Jacob Dersley is now set to release his self-produced album ‘Adolescence’ in the summer of ’22 and take it UK wide on ‘The Adolescence Tour,’ to coincide with the post A-Level celebrations and after parties!

With an infectious, raw energy and passion for music, Jacob’s sound coasts seamlessly from indie-pop to upbeat flowing rap, inspired by artists such as Ed Sheeran, Tom Misch and Loyle Carner.

Jacob consistently takes his audiences on an immersive, compelling and relatable journey of self-discovery and finding identity - think love, break up, arguments, thinking big, losing someone and more- and his honest portrayal of adolescence, mixed with his ‘making it up as you go’ confident optimism leaves his audiences knowing they are part of something bigger, something exciting that’s building for the future."
