Biography

A rare and unusual talent, Jake Morley has a musical style to drop your jaw, tapping and slapping an acoustic guitar on his lap as if playing the guitar, piano and drums combined... whilst singing.

Sell-out headline gigs and the release of a critically-acclaimed debut album, 'Many Fish To Fry' followed, culminating in major support slots for The Hoosiers and Nizlopi. His second album, 'The Manual', was released in June 2016.

Not just an unbelieveable guitarist, Jake's true talent lies in singing songs of beautiful, honest intensity.

---

"Jake Morley and his impressive band more than have what it takes.... an ambitious pop sound that is every bit as bright and sparkly as the main player himself."

4 stars - The Independent

"a sound that can’t be ignored ...For all aspiring guitarists, Jake Morley is one to be watched. It may have once been said that he will be playing alongside Jools Holland ‘within a year’, and surely this is now imminent. Truly an album to appeal to all natures, as well as guitar-breaking enthusiasts, and while not electric in genre this will give Clapton a reason to shake in his boots."

9 out of 10, Virgin.com

"On the verge of making it"

The Times

"Blimey! Great real life lyrics and superb virtuoso playing. That's extraordinary! It's also created a sensation on YouTube, so I would suggest you go and see him in action."

Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Radio

"Mesmerising! Jake Morley is a unique talent.... one to keep an eye on!"

Musicriot.co.uk

“A bona-fide guitar genius... he creates, all on his own, a sound world that would need three mere mortals to achieve”
