English born singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist Jamie Turner is based in the sunny coastal town of Perth, Western Australia. He writes and records all of his own music inside his home recording studio that he refers to as “Hum Drum Studios”.
Turner's songwriting and recording approach takes inspiration from using an array of analog recording equipment he has collected over the years, in an effort to capture the warm and characteristic sounds that are present in all of his favourite recordings from the 60's and 70's.
Some notable musical influences include the likes of Paul McCartney, Todd Rundgren, Emitt Rhodes, The Beach Boys and Harry Nilsson.
