Jay Wykes started DJing in 1990, jumping on the bandwagon with every other 19 year old kid. Decks were the new bmx or skateboard for the acid house or rave revolution that was happening all over the UK. Jay says there is nothing better than standing in a DJ booth with a 4/4 beat resonating through a set of subs the size of an elephan, with synths shrieking through the mids and highs and watching the crowd go absolutely mental.
