The DJ that brought you House to the UK tagged by Grooverider as The Godfather of UK House. Started as Jazzy M on London Pirate Radio Station LWR back in 1984 with the first ever House music radio show that started it all called The Jackin Zone in 1985 and this went on to the use of the word Zone as his record store was The Vinyl Zone plus soon to go online the re-launch of OhZone Recordings whose first release was Chime by Orbital and not forgetting the 3rd release being the massive Epoch 90 - V.L.S.I Heaven, Ju Ju – Like a Zombie.

Jazzy M has played in over 80 Countries and many cities around the globe with huge international tours with companies such as Ministry Of Sound, Pacha and Cream.

He has worked with so many artists and also has played in special one off parties including for sporting football God Diego Maradona in Punte del Este Uruguay at La Morocha for a special Ola Magazine festival, and has played for Janet Jackson when she had her LP concert tour late 90s .

Jazzy has Produced many house and electronic dance tracks including working with Paul Weller and DC Lee for Slam Slam and Style Council, He has also worked on a Project with Arthur Baker a track called Simple Rhythm.

The list is endless as is the LPs, Cd’s and many other projects he has either compiled and worked on, all this achieved in over 35 years as a professional DJ, Radio Presenter, Music Producer/Artist and also remixer .

Jazzy, of now, is acting in film in the UK, writing new music for artists and himself under his own name Michael Schiniou and of course certain projects as Jazzy M . Some of his highlights in an incredible career are Jazzin’ the way you know a massive hit dance single plus Resident at Ministry of Sound for over 15 years and being the first man to bring house to the UKs ears via radio and not forgetting a wonderful forward he has written for his dear friend Marshall Jefferson for his new Book coming out in 2019 .
