Jemma Krysa is a singer-songwriter from Tairgwaith near the south-western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. She discovered her musical talents at an early age, writing her first song at the age of thirteen. Since then, her velvety vocals coupled with emotive lyrics and beautiful rhythmic melodies have captivated her many fans. Song writing success has quickly followed with her title track, “Free Rideâ€, written for a German television cartoon programme, holding the Number 1 spot in the German music charts for three weeks. She recorded her first album of original material at the age of 17 and the following year moved to Los Angeles where success saw her support Dolores O’Riordan of The Cranberries. Now back in Wales she continues to build a loyal following, regularly receiving radio airplay, and is planning to release a new album by the end of 2017.
