Jesse Flowers is one of the outstanding talents of the younger generation of the classical guitar. His solo concert programmes are marked by his impressive interpretations of a wide repertoire ranging from his own transcriptions of the works of J.S. Bach to important works from the 20th century by Benjamin Britten and Alberto Ginastera. He is also an avid chamber musician and has performed in diverse chamber music settings, regularly in duo alongside voice and cello.
Jesse was the recipient of three prestigious awards in 2018. These were first prize at the Eurostrings Guitar Competition in Zagreb, the New Elizabethan Award in London and first prize at the Deutscher Gitarrenpreis in Darmstadt. Other highlights included debut performances in China and the USA.
