Jessica Pratt is a supremely talented San Francisco-based singer and musician, self-described as "sexpervertin....born in a cave." Pratt's music is intricate, intimate, and contemporary yet seems as if it's been cast from an earlier era. Pratt's voice rumbles gently, lower, wiser, with patient, compelling and heart-wrenching songs whose hand-crafted lyrics fit near the flesh, as though some sort of celestial, terrestrial, wise elfin whispered them in your ear and then promptly left you to dream, both spooked and charmed.
