Coming from a city as steeped in Britain's musical history as Liverpool could prove too much for some but not Jessica's Ghost, who are clearly an exciting new prospect with huge talent. Giving the folk format a bit of a shakedown, they add their own style and influences, which include Radiohead and the Fairport Convention, and have been gigging hard around the North West for three years. They are clearly excellent musicians who easily mix folk, pop and indie and look to be an exciting live prospect just crying out to be seen so keep your eyes peeled.
