A rag-tag group of musician made up of Jim Carey, Seamas Carey, Jen Dyer, Nathan Fitzgerald, Louis Gulliver King, Marc Hadley, Roger Luxton and Kath Williams, playing the saxophone, viola, accordion, flute, cello, double bass, flugalhorn and keyboard amongst a whole host of percussion instruments and vocals. The diverse and poignant songs cross stylistic boundaries, taking inspiration from Cornish folk, traditional African songs, ska, swing, and many more. Over the course of one fantastic evening lyrical laments, ballads and brass will all tell the stories and bring to life the worlds created by Darke & Carey.
