The DJ/Producer & Founder of musical imprint Do As You Please is building a discography of limitless promise. Already one of the most beloved electronic music-heads in the city, whose ongoing work is seeing him develop as fully-fledged artistic force capable of transcending the genre. The Manchester-based artist is building on his already burgeoning reputation as one of the city’s most promising talents around, having gained radio play on BBC Radio One by Jaguar, as well as recording a live stream for globally acclaimed festival We Out Here. The success of ‘The Inner Circle’ VA has been accompanied with over 100 gigs in half a year, including some standout sets that involved support Kerri Chandler, Dimitri From Paris, Yousef, wAFF, Richy Ahmed and Tristan Da Cunha.

Alongside his Radio 1 success, Joe has spread his wings further in the early months of 2022, once again demonstrating his musical and technical prowess to deliver standout events. His events series Do As You Please has gone from strength to strength with a cohort of standout nights at Distrikt (Leeds), a sell-out night at YES, Joshua Brookes and Manchester’s renowned Eastern Bloc. Roche also performed a live hardware set of original productions at Manchester International Festival 2021, after being shortlisted as one of 12 of Manchester’s most promising up and coming artists, in a project funded by Youth Music and delivered by Reform Radio & Thirty Pound Gentleman. It’s only the beginning for one of Manchester’s finest prospects.
