John Lee Hooker Jr is a contemporary blues artist - he rocks, he grooves, is funky, has soul and R&B. A great horn section, complemented by funky bass lines provide the artist with a great background to present his bluesy and funky lyrics :-) Junior should not be confused with the legendary John Lee Hooker, his father. Listening to Junior's music you won't necessarily be reminded of his father, but it certainly is Blues. In summary, a great contemporary blues voice, who rocks.
