Joy Joseph is a singer, drummer. percussionist and steel pan player based in East London. She was born into a musical family as the daughter of Trinidadian Calypso legend Alexander D Great, and learned her chops playing with her father\'s Great Band, and with various steel bands from an early age. Joy plays steel pan and percussion and sings backing vocals for Mr Hudson & The Library, and appears on their debut album \'A Tale Of Two Cities\'. She also drums and sings backing for I Blame Coco (with Sting\'s daughter Coco Sumner), and has written and sung for The HeartShake (alongside Jo Maeva).
