A four piece indie band formed in the heart of Notts, with various influences under belt to provide a distinct sound.
The band is lead by former FSN finalist and Young Creatives Winner 2017/2018 Kelsey Shaw, who's compositions have been described as including 'the beaut Acoustic-Pop touches that Notts has come to love' - Sam Nahirny, NUSIC.
THE EMBERS consists of wing-woman Aaliyah Raffell, a solo musician previously, who provides delicate harmonies and plenty of bass for the ultimate vibe. Fellow member Nathan Johnston also creates intricate and soulful melodies on both guitar and piano, whilst drummer Adam Shaw is a multi-instrumentalist in his own right, being a part of well-known band THE DANDYLIONS, who have opened the Splendour mainstage. As part of this band, he ties the other members together with the high tension build-ups and fills that have made the band a rising feature in Nottingham.
