Dublin stand up Kevin Gildea started off in a sketch troupe with a certain Ardal O’ Hanlon! A regular on the international circuit for many a year he proudly boasts to have appeared everywhere ‘from Singapore to Sligo’ as well as all the major comedy festivals.

A regular on Ireland’s RTE his many telly appearances span everything from Father Ted to presenting on The Works where he interviewed everyone from Eddie Izzard to Kermit The Frog. He also popped up in Father Ted as father Cave.

Stand up comedy remains Kevin’s first love though and we can’t wait to see him unleashed on the unsuspecting folk of Heatons Moor
