A native of the Shetland Islands, Kevin Henderson is one of the most exciting young fiddlers on the world stage and performs around the globe with five musical groups-Fiddlers’ Bid, Boys of the Lough, Session A9, The Nordic Fiddlers Bloc, and Aamos. Inspired by his grandfather to start playing at age nine, Kevin studied briefly under highly renowned Shetland fiddler Trevor Hunter before going on to study with Willie Hunter, arguably Shetland’s finest ever fiddler. Kevin is joined by Swedish guitarist Mattias Perez to play music from their album. The two partnered on a CD entitled, 'Fin Da Laand Ageen,' a collection of traditional fiddle music from Shetland.
