'Kirtan Scotland' has been formed in in 2009 to promote Kirtan & Mantra Music in Scotland. We use traditional Indian & modern instruments. We play eastern-western tunes that vary from meditative to energetic. The beautiful thing about it is that audience ca get involved in singing & even dancing - Kirtan is a participatory experience. No previous experience is necessary.

We run regular Kirtan programmes in Glasgow & Edinburgh. Since 2010, we hold major Kirtan events in Edinburgh with Edinburgh International Centre for Spirituality & Peace (http://www.eicsp.org). Since 2013 we took major Kirtan events to Findhorn, Aberdeen, Preston, Liverpool & London. In 2015 we launched regular Kirtan Events at the University of Glasgow & annual 12h kirtan in Aberdeen. In 2016 we made a debut at OM Yoga Show in Glasgow with our pop-up temple. We will be also playing at Vegfest Scotland this December.
