KST biography
Almost eight years after their first recorded track, KST is getting ready to drop the long awaited official album "Soldati Necunoscuti" (Unknown soldiers), early 2008. In these past eight years, the band went through numerous changes, Kombat - the only member remaining from the original line-up - working during this time with Cenzurah, Nextrick, DJ Borac, Aforic and Underman.
It looks like the year 2005 was a good one for KST: Maerry joined the group, along Kombat and Dj Faibox, and the trio started working on an official debut album. KST's live appereances generated a positive buzz among the Hip-hop community, as the group performed in numerous concerts all over Romania. KST has also taken part in memorable events, such as opening for Promoe (Looptroop), Freestyle and Afu-Ra, a gig supporting the Romanian Language at the University of Bucharest and the Bucharest Summer Jam 06 festival.
KST won't stop here, as they eagerly await the new album do drop early 2008. They've worked for almost an year on the new L.P., who will feature talented local artists and an international collabo: Catalin (Coma), Piti (EMIL), Veritasaga, Rashid (CIA), Butch (Dagga), Ovidiu, Serafim (Funktastics), USM, Kazi Ploae, DJ Undoo, DJ Skid, M105 (Ad Litteram), and French rapper Piloophaz.
