Kwame Yeboah is a Ghanaian keyboard prodigy, guitarist, producer and recording engineer.
Kwame grew up in a music family - by age 7 he was already an accomplished keyboard player. Kwame has toured and recorded with Stevie Wonder, UK soul singer Omar, Osibisa and Ken Boothe. He is currently the main touring and recording guitarist for Craig David and musical director for Cat Stevens.
He is also the leader and main brain behind Pat Thomas’s infamous Kwashibu Area Band – who have recorded 2 best selling albums for Quinton Scott’s at Strut Records.
Kwame’s newest musical project and comprises a line-up of handpicked young talented musicians all based in London. It's a bold statement of creative possibilities that has always underscored Kwame’s work ethic.
The sonics of this new band are very much inspired by the very early works of jazz pianists like Herbie Hancock, George Duke and Weldon Irvine. It's more or less an intense cauldron of irresistible fender Rhodes fuelled jazz funk compositions that could set any dance floor alight.
